Well, what a day today was! After many weeks of preparation, my class finally had their science fair at Nelson School. The kiddos selected projects on their own, worked hard to do some research, they conducted their experiments, wrote up a "Big kid" report, created a fancy display board, and presented to classmates, friends, teachers, and parents. It was such a sight to be seen. The kiddos did most of the work today. I bopped around taking pictures and making sure everyone was all set. I had to frequently visit the Tsunami presentation because, well, things were getting a little washed up! He was having so much fun destroying the town that he was cracking his project. Oops! Nothing a little hot glue can't fix! We had a dart projector that blasted NERF darts across the playground. It was outstanding. We had bike jumps, cookies, static balloons, sinking and flosting, milk color wheels, rusting hot wheels, blowing up a balloon with no hands, a mini-hot air balloon and of course, the tsunami. Teachers and parents loved listening to the kiddos present. How cute it is to hear 8,9 and 10 year olds use the word hypothesis correctly? Too cute. They also talked about controls, data, procedure, materials, and conclusions. My little ones are growing up!
I was pooped afterschool. After a 45 minute tutoring session with one of my kiddos, I prepped for tomorrow before I came home for a quick cat nap. I certainly needed it. : ) I am very glad this is done.

Saturday Night With The girls
I had so much fun last night out with some of my favorite people. After spending the day cleaning the house, I was ready to party. Tina was the first to show up at 7. Followed by Matora and then the TF crew. I was so excited to see everyone. The party was going to be larger, but many people cancelled on the day of. So that stunk. But, we still managed to have a great time. Nothing like sipping margaritas, munching on snack food, and chatting with the girls. It was some much needed girl time! Around 10 we went out to The Railroad here in Keene. It isn't much of a dance club, but in Keene, it is the best that you can find. We shook our booties to some old school last night. Remember Hotstepper? Rump Shaker? Coolio? Boyz to Men? It was cool. Lisa was trying to convince the group to go over to McCue's pool hall to meet up with a fellow employee. The crew wanted to dance, so we decided last call would be at McCue's. We walked in to the hall, they already called last call, but Lisa worked her magic and had her friend Brock serve us shots and beer. Well, not to me, but to the girls. We danced one song and it was then time to go. I drove the girls to McDonald's and that was quite the experience. 4 drunk ladies in the back of my car at the drive thru...wow! I couldn't stop laughing and I do not think the McDonald's crew was impressed. Pretty funny though. Anyway, I dropped the girls off at the Holiday Inn and headed home to bed. What a night! I love my girlfriends and they always know how to make me laugh. Next weekend we will reunite again for Morgan's first birthday. Wow! How time flies. Love you ladies! Thanks for visiting.

Back in Keene
So, here I am back in Keene. As usual, the free internet that we get in the apartment is not working. After setting up all these different things with my brother in Delaware, I was anxious to get back online to play around. I have lugged my things to the Colony Mill and here I sit in the Food Court. For those who don't know the Mill, it is actually very nice. Come visit and I will show you.
So...I posted a few of my Aidan pictures in a slideshow. There are MANY more. I will get to them, I promise. I have just been sitting here a bit too long. I conveniently chose a seat in the Colony Mill where the sun was shining directly on my forehead, so I have had to squint through this entire process. I know, I know, I should just move. Well, the sun continues to shift, so I am hoping I can tough it out. Oh well.
I miss the little pumpkin in Delaware already. He is just so much fun to hang out with. He is so inquisitive now and very aware. He is starting to play with sounds and his smile is to die for! it was great to come home though. I was happy to see my Bigger Pumpkin here in Keene. I missed him very much.
This morning I started the process of cleaning up the apartment and shopping for snacks and drinks for tomorrow night's Girls Night In. I cannot wait to see friends and let loose a little bit. It should be a good time. I am sure there will be pictures to prove it. Check back.
Anyway, I am off to the apartment on this beautiful sunny day to continue laundry, scrub the bathtub, clean the floors and dust. Such fun! Hopefully dessert will be my reward.
